"Weakest Link" Romney?

Like Dean Barnett, I ask the question. Why is the MSM so fascinated with Mitt Romney? I believe the answer was given a couple Tuesdays ago at a fund raiser for Romney in Utah.

"He's the one the Democrats fear the most," said Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch as he arrived for the dinner.

"He's articulate, he's smart, he's attractive," Hatch said. "He's been a very effective Republican governor of one of the bluest states in the union."

The other side fears him the most!

The Democrats and their hacks in the MSM are using a strategy liken to the famous British game show "Weakest Link". McCain and Giuliani are the “weakest link on the Republican side. Eliminate the strongest candidate early, who they believe is Romney, thus having an easier task in the general elections. Dean Barnett in his article on Town Hall.com asks why no scrutiny of Rudy Giuliani.

Why has Romney received so much of the media’s peculiar brand of tender loving care? After all, while New York’s former mayor did deservingly become a national hero after his courageous response to the 9/11 attacks, the Rudy Giuliani Story has many juicy nuggets that are not widely known to the public outside the five boroughs. And yet the national media to date seems curiously uninterested in such matters.”

The question is not why, but when will they start scrutinizing him. Rudy is being ignored now so that they will have him as the “weakest link” and have a field day in the General elections in 08.

Mitt Romney - Is the Reagan era back?

I visited the Mitt Romney for president website and was immediatley drawn to the Mitt TV section. The video "This is the story" reminds me so much of Reagan's Morning in America ad. See for yourself.
